CMSPA Information

Children get the most out of their education when parents get involved. Countryside Montessori School's Parent Association works hard to help enrich our children's educational experiences even further. We offer excellent programs for any interested parties and work with teachers and administration to ensure our children have the best possible experience at school. We find that participating in the CMSPA benefits parents in a number of ways:

  • Effect Change: Participating in the CMSPA can help you suggest change at your child's school. If you have an idea, you are encouraged to speak up!
  • Get Connected: There is no better way to learn what's happening at your child's school than by becoming an active participant in the way it runs. Connect with other parents and administration can help you share ideas, experiences, and concerns; it can even help you develop personal ties of your own!
  • Grow as a Person: By putting your skills and abilities to use for a good cause, you'll find value and improve your sense of self worth.
  • Benefit Your Child: There are many material benefits for children whose parents get involved, including higher grades, more enjoyment, and better family relationships. Children with involved parents even tend to stay in school longer!

If you would like to learn more about the CMSPA, feel free to get in touch with our office for details! We are always happy to answer questions and offer further information for curious parents in the Great Neck and Manhasset, NY area, and we encourage everyone to get involved!

Connecting Home and School

Having a connection between home and school for young children is beneficial because it allows parents to be involved in their child’s education. Our Montessori school has implemented the CMSPA or Countryside Montessori School's Parent Association to allow parents to get more involved with their child’s preschool and primary school education programs. Children whose parents volunteered have been more academically successful throughout their early childhood school years and beyond.
