At our Montessori school, our educational approach is based upon hands-on learning and regular outdoor exercise. Our founder, Dr. Maria Montessori, started the original Montessori school based upon those principles. The children enrolled in our programs are taught using multiple teaching methods to help ensure all students learn in the best way for them. They are also placed in classes with children in their age group. Our teachers and school environment promote collaboration, positivity, and a sense of community. Countryside Montessori School has early childhood education for children who are 18 months old to 6 years old in Great Neck and Manhasset, NY. Teaching patience, respect, self-awareness, and self-confidence to children early on will set them up for a life of learning. Driving Directions to Countryside Montessori School
From Queens via the Long Island Expressway: Drive east to exit 33. Turn right at the traffic light onto Lakeville Road south. Turn right at the third traffic light onto school property.

From Queens via the Grand Central Parkway: Drive east to exit 25. Turn right at the traffic light onto Marcus Avenue west. Turn right at the next traffic light onto Lakeville Road north. Turn left at the next traffic light onto school property.
 
From Long Island via the Long Island Expressway: Drive west to exit 33. Turn left at second traffic light onto Lakeville Road south. Turn right at the fourth traffic light onto school property.

From Long Island via the Northern State Parkway: Drive west to exit 25N. Merge onto Lakeville Road north. Turn left at the next traffic light onto school property.

Once on our school property, turn right and drive around until you reach the side of the playground. The front entrance to our school (the red door) is adjacent to the playground. Ring the bell and we will buzz you right in.
